Sunderland AFC will depart for North America on Wednesday for a pre-season tour ahead of the 2026-27 campaign. The trip runs from 23 July to 2 August and includes fan experiences and player meet-and-greets across Nashville, New Jersey and Philadelphia, delivered in collaboration with TEG Sport.
The tour will also feature Leeds United, Liverpool and Wrexham. Open training sessions, exclusive activations and matchday fanzones are planned throughout the itinerary. SAFC legends Kevin Ball and Kevin Phillips will join supporters across the tour.
Tour Schedule and Events
The tour begins on 23 July with a VIP experience at Graceland in Memphis. On 24 July, an evening event with first-team squad members will take place at Ole Red in Nashville.
Sunderland will face Liverpool at GEODIS Park on 25 July and Leeds United at Sports Ilustrated Stadium on 30 July. An immersive fan pop-up event is scheduled at LUME Studios in New York on 29 July.
A New York Mets takeover will occur at Citi Field on 31 July. The tour concludes with a fanzone in Philadelphia ahead of the match against AFC Wrexham at Subaru Park on 2 August.
Open training sessions will be available to invited supporters in Nashville and New York.
