Sunderland AFC legends Kevin Ball and Kevin Phillips, along with first-team players Reinildo Mandava, Leo Hjelde, Jenson Seelt and Alan Browne, visited Nashville during a trip to the United States to experience the city's music culture.
Hall of Fame and RCA Studio B
Ball and Phillips toured the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, where they viewed Elvis Presley's 1960 Cadillac Series 75 Fleetwood Limousine. The pair also visited RCA Studio B, the recording venue where Presley recorded more than 200 songs including Are You Lonesome Tonight?
Gibson Garage Experience
The other four players visited Gibson Garage for an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience at the guitar brand's Nashville headquarters. During their visit, the group was surprised by a performance from country music artist Amy Alexander, who is a Sunderland supporter. The players attempted to play guitar themselves as part of the experience.
