Foundation of Light is inviting Fantasy Premier League fans to enter a mini-league competition, with entries raising money for the charity's work across the North East.
Entry costs £5 via Crowdfunder. One participant will win a signed Sunderland AFC shirt. All donations support Foundation of Light's programmes in the region.
How to enter
Participants should visit the Foundation of Light Fantasy Premier League Mini-league page on Crowdfunder, click the 'Donate' button, then select the £5 FPL League Entry reward. League pins will be sent by email on Friday 21 August, ahead of the game week deadline later that day.
What the money supports
Foundation of Light uses football to deliver sport, education, skills and health programmes. The charity states that a £5 donation would teach a person how to cook healthy meals on a budget. A £3 donation gives access to a healthy lifestyle fitness programme, while £10 pays for an older couple to attend activities to improve physical and mental wellbeing. A £20 donation teaches a family how to cook healthy meals on a budget.
