Liam Hunt Signs First Pro Deal with Sunderland AFC

Sunderland AFC has announced that midfielder Liam Hunt has signed his first professional contract with the club.

Hunt's Youth Career

Hunt has made nearly 70 appearances for Sunderland's youth teams across all competitions since beginning his Under-18 career three years ago.

Hunt said he was delighted to continue his development at his boyhood club, adding that he was grateful for the support of coaches, teammates and family.

Head of Academy John Hewitson described Hunt as a ball-playing midfielder who links well with his teammates and has earned the opportunity to progress with Sunderland.
