Foundation of Light is marking its 25th anniversary with a Family Fun Day on Thursday 13 August. The event takes place at Beacon of Light, Stadium Park, running from 10:30am to 3:30pm across five separate time slots.
Entry costs £2.50 per person as a donation to the Foundation of Light. Family tickets are available for £8, covering two adults and two children. Children under three enter free.
Activities and Entertainment
The day will feature football kickabouts, multi-sports, martial arts, badminton, table tennis, dance and Zumba classes. Face painting, mini golf, and biscuit decorating will also be available. An EAFC gaming tournament and a penalty shootout against SAFC mascot Samson are scheduled. A fire engine will be on site during morning time slots.
Participants can take part in an activity trail with the chance to win prizes. Yard Nine Café will be open for refreshments throughout the day.
Facilities and Ticketing
The Beacon of Light is fully accessible with disabled facilities and pushchair storage available. Tickets must be purchased in advance online via Eventbrite. There will be no ticket sales on the day.
