Sunderland AFC is introducing a new Club Account system to streamline how supporters access club services online. The change replaces the use of supporter number as the primary login method with a single email address and password across the club's digital platforms.
How to register
Supporters can register by visiting tickets.safc.com, entering their email address and password. The system will prompt a password reset, after which supporters will receive a verification code by email. Following the steps in that email will verify the address and link accounts automatically.
If an account shows as invalid after entering email and password, supporters should click "create account" and enter their details. If no verification email arrives within a few minutes, supporters can create a new account using the same email address as their existing ticketing account.
Existing streaming pass holders
Supporters who have already purchased streaming passes for upcoming pre-season fixtures can login with their existing safc.com credentials. If they have a ticket account registered to the same email address, these will link automatically.
What the new account includes
Once logged in at tickets.safc.com, supporters can view and manage their account overview, including personal details such as name, email address, phone number, date of birth and address. The account also displays marketing preferences, linked devices and previous streaming purchases.
The Club Account links to a supporter's ticketing account when relevant data fields match across both systems. Where more than one ticketing account is linked to the same email address, the original account will be linked, based on the lowest supporter number. Supporters are encouraged to check their ticket history once logged in to confirm the correct account has been assigned.
What's next
The new login method will be used for the new Sunderland AFC app, which is due to launch later this summer. The club online store, operated by Fanatics, will continue to use its own separate account and login process for now.
