Sunderland AFC have begun their pre-season preparations for the 2026-27 campaign and will face York City in their first summer fixture on Saturday at the LNER Stadium.
Manager Régis Le Bris' side are into the second week of training at the Academy, where players have been working on fitness through physical assessments, gym sessions and on-pitch work.
What's next for the Lads
After Saturday's trip to York, Sunderland will head to the USA for a tour the following week as they continue their build-up to the new season.
