Régis Le Bris has confirmed his first Sunderland AFC team sheet for the 2026-27 season ahead of the Black Cats' opening pre-season fixture against York City. The match kicks off at 3pm BST.

Starting XI

Melker Ellborg will start in goal, with a back four of Reinildo, Luke O'Nien, Nordi Mukiele and Trai Hume. Chris Rigg and Alan Browne will anchor midfield, while Timur Tutierov, Enzo Le Fée and Jocelin Ta Bi support striker Trey Ogunsuyi.
