Sunderland AFC has partnered with Fantasy Football Scout to provide tips and advice for Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers during the 2026–27 season. The partnership will offer gameweek guidance aimed at helping managers improve their mini-league positions and overall rankings.
Midfielder Enzo Le Fée has been highlighted as a valuable differential option for FPL teams. A differential is classified as a player owned by fewer than 10% of FPL managers. Le Fée is currently found in just 3.3% of teams, making him an attractive pick for managers seeking to gain points on their rivals.
Strong Underlying Numbers
Le Fée is Sunderland's third highest FPL points scoring player this season, but his underlying statistics suggest he has been unfortunate not to register more points. He has taken 10 shots across the campaign — fewer only than Brian Brobbey across the Sunderland side — with six shots from inside the box and three classified as OPTA big chances.
The midfielder has created eight chances for teammates, half of which have been defined as OPTA big chances. He has supplied 13 crosses and been involved in an impressive 29% of chances (shots and chances created) whilst on the pitch.
Le Fée has received more passes in the final third than any other Sunderland player and has recorded a team-leading 101 touches in the final third so far this season.
Set-Piece Duties Boost FPL Potential
Le Fée holds both penalty and set-piece responsibilities through corners and free kicks. Set-piece involvement increases a player's route to points, as these situations are statistically more likely to result in goals or assists.
Through the opening five weeks of the season, Le Fée has taken seven corners, two free kicks and two penalties. Only Granit Xhaka has had more set-piece involvement across the Sunderland side.
